   2/27/2009: Bug fix. Version 1.16 of TesTTaker is now available. All previous installs cannot update from V1.15 software to V1.16 by the update feature under the SeaSources start menu at this time. You must uninstall and do a fresh download/install.

Click here to try the new online Beta site which is now ready for trial testing. We are inviting everyone to help us beat on this new system to make sure all the bugs are out and to make suggestions on final additions to the format. We highly recommend using Mozilla Firefox as a browser with this test site. It is available for free as a download. Bug reporting is a very simple process now by clicking on the "Bug" icon. This sends us an email which targets the question ID# for quick solutions. Username and Password from the current online study will not work. You must create a new temporary user account.   The score history is now fully functional. Remember that even though you are online while you are choosing which test to take when you click on "take test" and "ok" the quiz is actually temporarily loaded to your computer which makes the quizzes run much faster than the old system. This new format will eventually take the place of the "TesTTaker" software in that what you see online is what you will get for software when it becomes available. As of 24 Feb 2010 we have fixed the problem with the references and the tables in the reference cells now line up properly. Also I have started adding hyperlinks directly to the reference cells. The illustrations now are opening in a new window which seems to work much better.. Please let me know if you have any problems with the login process.

Please Read: Before creating an account on this system, please be aware that it requires a later version of Netscape (>= 6.0) or a later version of Microsoft Internet Explorer ( >= 5.5). Both of these are freely available. We highly recommend Mozilla which is available for Windows, Linux, AND Macintosh.  If you have a popup blocker or something similar installed your computer it "could" interfere with the proper functioning of the online tests.  Mozilla has a popup blocker built in. So, if you make that your default browser, you can use our site and stop popup ads. Older browsers will not work - sorry. AOL may not work well with this system either. 

 Note: After creating an account you will be taken directly to the online quizzes. Remember the username and password you opened the account with. It may not necessarily be emailed to you. Upon returning, go to the login page.

 Note: The online illustrations will be viewed best if you temporarily Disable the auto resize on your browser.  

 Note: If you are getting redirected as soon as you try to take a quiz then change your settings to allow cookies in your tools/internet options for this site. quizzes.seasources.net.

  Note: You will not receive a recorded score to your "personal score history" for each quiz unless you complete the quiz. 

  Note: If your personal user account is being accessed by multiple users it would be more to their advantage to create their own account in order to receive the benefits of having their own personal score history attached to the quizzes they take.

  Note: All personal information and e-mail addresses are kept strictly confidential and are not given out to mailing lists nor do we use addresses to bombard you with useless Spam.     The new downloadable software modules from the online study are ready to go  These packages are available to install on your pc and are upgradeable free of charge whenever changes or improvements take place. If you are already a member of online study and have previously purchased software from SeaSources on any module you are already qualified to receive the new upgrades to that module. The installable version  includes score keeping and score history capabilities.   Please feel free to make comments or suggestions on this new system while it is still in the development stages. If you would like to participate in the testing of this new system then Download the new software.  Your username and password from the online study are needed to open the new software.
